NATIONS UNIES (Reuters) - Les États-Unis ont demandé au Conseil de sécurité de l'Onu de se réunir publiquement vendredi à propos de la Corée du Nord, selon des diplomates, après que Pyongyang a procédé à plusieurs tirs de missiles, dont un possible missile balistique intercontinental qui aurait échoué.
La demande a été soutenue par d'autres membres du Conseil, à savoir la France, la Grande-Bretagne, l'Albanie, l'Irlande et la Norvège, ont indiqué les diplomates.
La Corée du Nord est depuis longtemps interdite d'essais nucléaires et de tirs de missiles balistiques par le Conseil de sécurité, qui a renforcé les sanctions à l'encontre de Pyongyang au fil des ans pour tenter d'arrêter le financement de ces programmes.
